Best Small Fictions Nominations 2027

Join us in congratulating our wonderful writers nominated for Best Small Fictions.

This annual anthology series awards the best flash fiction and related small forms like prose poetry.

With a new publisher, Black Lawrence Press, in transition, the anthology is combining last year's nominations with new nominations from the first half of this year. This is why you see that the deadlines for last year's nominations were at the end of the year previously, and why you have not yet heard word on this year’s anthology if you have been following.
